BULLHEAD CITY, AZ., December 15, 2022 – City of Bullhead staff and contractors will be working on the following projects throughout our city during the week of December 19:

  • The National Fitness Campaign Fitness Court at Rotary Park is nearly complete. Workout equipment has been installed, along with an ADA walking path to the court. A temporary fence surrounds the court for safety until the court officially opens. The city is planning a grand opening ceremony on the Fitness Court to take place in early January.
  • City Public Works Crews are grading and landscaping at North Veterans Memorial around the Howitzer which arrived at the site shortly after the Veterans Parade. The project will continue for the next few weeks.

  • Precise Builders, under contract with the city of Bullhead City will continue construction on the new restrooms at the North end of Community Park.
  • Public Works staff are in the final stages of constructing a driver stand at the Rotary Park RC racetrack. The driver stand is expected to be completed soon.
  • City Public Works staff will be slurry sealing streets in the arroyo vista neighborhood off Corwin Rd. • Bullhead City Utilities crews will be conducting sewer cleaning along Landon Dr, Landon Dr E, Sun River Rd, Florence Ave, and Landon Dr W. Sewer cleaning will also take place along several empty lots on McCormick Blvd.  Work from the previous week was rescheduled due to staff shortages. Sewer cleaning is a routine year-round maintenance project that keeps the wastewater system functioning optimally.

The City reminds the public to please only flush human waste, toilet paper, and grey water down the drain. All other waste products should be disposed of through other means to avoid damage the city’s infrastructure.
