The entire project at the north end of Community Park is anticipated to be completed and opened for the public before the summer of 2023.

The project will involve installing paneling made of Predl material to protect the well from corrosion. The city anticipates the completion of the 16-2 lift station rehabilitation project in late June. Upon the completion of the project at 16-2, the city will begin the same work at the 18-2 lift station with the expectation that the project will be completed in the fall of 2023.

Crews will be pumping water from a private well South of Laughlin ranch Blvd and Riverport Dr to test the well’s productivity. Residents in the area are advised the 24-hour test will require the use of a loud diesel generator. The test will be completed by the end of day Wednesday, May 03.

The City reminds the public to please only flush human waste, toilet paper, and grey water down the drain. All other waste products should be disposed of through other means to avoid damage the city’s infrastructure.
