Coffee with a Cop

The Bullhead City Police Department has partnered with Tasa Espresso & Smoothie Bar for a Coffee with a Cop event. Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity to bring police officers and the community together over coffee to discuss issues and learn more about each other. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd from 9 – 11 a.m. at Tasa Espresso & Smoothie bar, 2649 Highway 95 Suite B in Bullhead City.

“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns, or simply get to know our officers,” said Bullhead City Police Chief Robert Trebes. “These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships and we hope to make lasting connections with the community we serve.”

The majority of contacts law enforcement has with the public happen during emergencies, or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the most effective times for relationship building with the community, and some community members may feel that officers are unapproachable on the street. Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction. Courtesy of Tasa, participants will enjoy one free small coffee as we build relationships – one cup at a time.
