Commercial Business Fire

At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2022, a fire was reported by a person passing by in the 1500 block of Acoma Lane. The reporting party could see flames
coming from a fenced in area. The first arriving fire company reported a working fire with flames and heavy smoke visible from a metal commercial building. Four Engine Companies, one Truck Company, and a Battalion Chief responded to the fire and gained control of the fire within 28 minutes.

 Crews remained on the scene an additional four hours conducting salvage operations and Fire Investigation. The building was un- occupied at the time of the fire. There were no reported injuries to any firefighters. CERT responded to the fire to assist with Rehab duties for the fire crews. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
