At approximately 10:45 am on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, a fire was reported by the building owner in the 1100 block of Red Rock Road which is located outside of the Lake Havasu City limits. The occupants discovered a fire in the garage area and evacuated the building. The first arriving fire company reported heavy smoke and fire in the large garage area which included a residence on the South side of the building.

Four Engine Companies and a Battalion Chief from Lake Havasu City responded along with one Engine Company from the Desert Hills Fire Department. The occupants evacuated the building safely. There were no reported injuries to the firefighters. LHCFD CERT responded with ten members to the fire to assist with Rehab duties for the firefighters.

Crews remained on the scene over night to monitor smoldering debris on the interior of the building which was not accessible due to the collapse of the entire roof structure. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
