Bullhead City is mourning the loss of a longtime business owner and community volunteer.
The family of Bob Swartzman says he died from heart complications during the early evening on Wednesday, July 13. Swartzman owned S&S Concrete in Bullhead City, was a member of the Los Matadores for some time, as well as a board member and tireless volunteer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River (BGCCR). Swartzman was also the widower to his late wife Denise, whom the softball field at Mohave High School is named. The two were very heavily involved as volunteers and donors in the Arizona Cinderella Pageant competitions while raising three daughters.
Former BGCCR President and CEO Teri Tomlinson told Radio Central News that Bob Swartzman “played a huge role in the planning and construction of the gymnasium project – especially during its planning stages.”
Daughter Stacey Swartzman-Sanderson says a celebration of life is being planned. Bob Swartzman was 73.
