BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – April 04, 2023- The City of Bullhead City is encouraging everyone to do their part to take care of the environment this Earth Day, April 22! The City of Bullhead City in sponsorship with Nevada State Recycling will host a free Electronic Waste Recycling Event this Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Bullhead City Justice parking lot at 1255 Marina Blvd.

The event will be held alongside a free Residential Household Hazardous Waste event to be hosted by the Bullhead City Fire Department and Mohave County Environmental Quality in the Motor Vehicle Division parking lot at 1325 Alona’s Way. Residents from the surrounding communities are invited to bring their hazardous items and their electronic waste to the events for proper disposal free of charge.

Nevada State Recycling will accept the electronic items listed below for FREE during the electronic waste disposal event.  Hard drives will be removed and destroyed from phones and computers.

Electronic Items to Bring; All appliances, adaptors, chargers, CD, DVD Rom discs, cellular phones, pagers, computer monitors, fax machine, copiers, floppy discs, gamin equipment, slot machines, keyboards, laptops, all televisions, modems, routers, medical equipment, printer ink cartridges and toners, scanners, radio equipment, speakers, stereo and audio equipment, typewriters, VCR player, video cameras, wires and connectors and scrap metal (steel, aluminum, brass, copper).
