MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (March 20, 2021) –Thursday, Mohave County announced it will receive 10,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine next week, an increase of 2,000 doses from recent weeks.  The county will also be getting 500 doses of the newly approved Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Due to that increase, County Health Director Denise Burley says “the time has come to open the 55 Years & Older 1B sub-category to those residents.” Burley added “we’re excited to get the increase in allocation and we decided to move ahead immediately today.  Our providers are ready to accept appointments for this younger age group.”
