County to Enforce Governor’s Order

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ  – Mohave County is moving through the COVID compliance process for private business in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order. Out of over 70 establishments selling food in the county, a Golden Valley restaurant continues to refuse to comply after inspection and enforcement procedures.  On October 29th , the County Health Department delivered a court order notice to the establishment to discontinue its operations within 24 hours.

Complaints were received against this business relating to employees not wearing masks and no social distancing being enforced.  The owners have publicly stated they will not follow the Governor’s Executive Order or the County policy.
