COVID Alert Bullhead City Middle School

The Bullhead City Elementary School District has notified the families of students in Bullhead City Middle School homeroom 609 and their teachers that they will be quarantined through December 1 due to exposure to COVID-19. Teachers for that homeroom will teach their classes virtually on Monday and Tuesday (November 30 and December 1) following Thanksgiving break.. Parents should monitor their children for COVID-19 symptoms and take proper steps if symptoms occur. Students and teachers may return to BCMS on Wednesday, December 2, if they have no symptoms.

The school district continues to work closely with the Mohave County Department of Public Health, which oversees contact tracing. Individuals are not identified, either by name, role (student or faculty) or gender, to maintain HIPAA and FERPA privacy and compliance.

BCESD maintains a dashboard available to the public, updated when there are new COVID-19 cases.  The dashboard is posted on the District website at .
