Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Jesse McQuade Dawson, 25 of Newton, AZ, and Stephanie Lynn Sparks, 38 of Newton, AZ. On Monday (2/3) at approximately 11 AM, deputies observed a
sedan with a Colorado license plate stopped at the intersection of Stockton Hill Rd. and Sycamore Ave. and observed the vehicle to have a cracked windshield. A records check was conducted on the license plate,
and results showed the car had been stolen in a carjacking incident. The vehicle turned onto Sycamore Ave. and deputies continued to follow from a safe distance. Deputies observed two occupants in the vehicle, a
male with short hair, and female with pulled back hair. When the vehicle pulled into the parking lot of a business in the 1700 block of Beverly Ave., deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however the vehicle

abandoned in the 3900 block of Raymond Ave. Kingman Police Department responded to the scene and assisted in setting up a perimeter to search for the suspects. Both suspects were located shortly after in the
parking lot of a nearby business and taken into custody.
