BULLHEAD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT:
DISORDERLY CONDUCT/CRIMINAL DAMAGE—Ray Charles Ortiz, 46, was arrested on Oct. 20 in the 1700 block of Arriba Drive on suspicion of disorderly conduct per domestic violence and criminal damage per domestic violence. Ortiz’s sister who he lives with reported that Ortiz reportedly came home intoxicated. The victim reported he was angry about his personal problems, so she went upstairs and locked her room. Ortiz is alleged to have kicked the door, while screaming offensive words. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.
ASSAULT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/CRIMINAL DAMAGE—Shannon Elizabeth Lafond, 41, was arrested on Oct. 20 in the 2100 block of Balboa Drive on suspicion of assault, disorderly conduct and criminal damage, all per domestic violence. A male reported Lafond had came to the victim’s (boyfriend) residence, pounded on his door, waking him. She then forced her way in and started cussing at him. She also reportedly started assaulting him, including biting his arm. She was arrested at her apartment in the 2000 block of Riveria Boulevard and taken to the Mohave County jail.
WARRANT—Robert Lee Coon, 26, was arrested on Oct. 20 in the 1900 block of Highway 95 on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.
ASSAULT—A 12-year-old old juvenile was arrested on Oct. 20 on suspicion of assault. It was reported on Oct. 19 two juvenile boys had gotten into a fight while at the skate park in Bullhead City. After further investigation, one of the juveniles was arrested for assault and released to the custody of his mother.
WARRANT— Anthony George Lockwood, 39, was arrested on Oct. 20 in the 2100 block of Highway 95 on a warrant. Police were called to the area for an assault report. A male victim was treated by paramedics and taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for a laceration on his head. The victim did not desire to prosecute. Lockwood was contacted during the investigation and a records check showed he had a warrant. Lockwood was not involved in the assault. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.
WARRANT—Eric Joseph Floyd, 26, and Martin Robert Carranza Jr, 25, were arrested on Oct. 20 in the 400 block of Steiger Drive on outstanding felony warrants. Police were called to Rotary Park for a report of males flashing a gun and making threats. When police arrived on scene, the two men took off running. No weapons were located, even when officers thoroughly searched the path they ran. Carranza was arrested on a warrant for trafficking in stolen property, while Floyd had a warrant for failure to appear. Both were taken to the Mohave County jail.
CRIMINAL TRESPASSING—Amanda Leigh Gibson, 37, was arrested on Oct. 20 in the 1700 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released at the scene.
SUSPENDED DRIVER’S LICENSE/REGISTRATION—Alyssa Raylynn Hill, 22, was cited and released on Oct. 21 in an area off Hancock Road on suspicion of driving on a suspended driver’s license, no current registration and no proof of insurance. Her vehicle was towed and she was given a ride to a friend’s house.
SPEEDING—Seth Andrew Steinmetz, 29, was cited and released on Oct. 21 near Highway 95 and College Drive on suspicion of speeding. Police reportedly noticed a motorcycle traveling along Highway 95 going in excess of 85 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone.
SPEEDING—Caleb Matheau Delisle, 20, was arrested on Oct. 21 on Highway 68 on suspicion of speed exceeding 85 miles per hour and reckless driving. Delisle was pulled over after the officer estimated he was traveling over 100 miles per hour on Highway 68. He was later released and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT—Anthony Milo Garcia, 39, cited and released on Oct. 22 in the 1600 block of Mohave Drive on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident of a fixed structure. Police responded to a private property accident in the Walmart parking lot. A vehicle had crashed into a post. The driver fled the scene and ran to the Marble Canyon Apartments on Mohave Drive. Police caught up with him, but he was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for a head injury.
DOG AT LARGE/TAGS—Kristopher Arbuckle, 22, was cited and released on Oct. 22 in the 2200 block of Trane Road on suspicion of two counts of dog at large, two counts of required license and two counts of required dog tags. Animal Care & Welfare picked up two dogs at large and brought them to the shelter. The dogs had tags and the owner’s info. A few hours later, the dogs’ owner Arbuckle came into the shelter to claim his two dogs and was cited.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA—Christopher Tylor Wiese, 26, was arrested on Oct. 23 at the intersection of Malibu Drive and Bermuda Drive on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. When he was contacted by officers, he reportedly had a marijuana pipe in his jacket pocket. Wiese was cited and released from the scene with a promise to appear in court at a later date.
