BULLHEAD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT:

ASSAULT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Jeffrey Alan Mendoza, 27, was arrested on Nov. 3 in the 1800 block of Tejon Drive on suspicion of disorderly conduct per domestic violence and assault per domestic violence. Mendoza reportedly got into an argument with his girlfriend, Kelsey Renee Sankey, 25, which turned physical. They were both arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct per domestic violence and taken to the Mohave County jail. 

DRUGS/WARRANTS—Jacob Lee Navarrette, 20, was arrested on Nov. 3 at the intersection of Clearwater Drive and Patillo Drive on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for failure to appear. Navarrette reportedly was found with around one gram of methamphetamine in his possession. He was taken to Mohave County jail. 

TRESPASSING—Amanda Leigh Gibson, 37, was arrested on Nov. 3 in the 1700 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of trespassing and on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Gibson had a valid trespass order against her from being on the property of Lodge on the River. She was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

WARRANT—Don Earl Kelso, 25, was arrested on Nov. 3 in the 1700 block of Highway 95 on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

WARRANT—Julie Ann Crawford, 37, was arrested on Nov. 3 in the 1900 block of Colorado Boulevard on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines. She was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

WARRANT—Alexis Gaud, 37, was arrested on Nov. 3 in the 600 block of Highway 95 on a misdemeanor warrant issued out of Kingman Court. She was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

WARRANT—Nancy Kay Hunter, 59, was arrested on Nov. 4 in the 1600 block of Yale Drive on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to the Mohave County jail.

WARRANT—Natasja Kristen Hernandez, 28, was arrested on Nov. 4 in the area of Sixth Street and Highway 95 on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to Mohave County jail.

WARRANT—Zachary Wade Moulton, 30, was arrested on Nov. 4 in the 1400 block of Summit Drive on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Mohave County jail.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE/DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Karen Marie Shaw, 56, was arrested on Nov. 4 in the 1400 block of Summit Drive on suspicion of criminal damage per domestic violence and disorderly conduct per domestic violence. Shaw allegedly got into an argument with her boyfriend and was yelling, acting very disorderly and started smashing dishes. She reportedly broke the victim’s antique crystal in the driveway and other items inside the residence. Shaw was taken to Mohave County jail. 

FALSE REPORTING—Joseph Dean Bolin, 43, was arrested on Nov. 4 in the 2100 block of Trinidad Drive on suspicion of false reporting to law enforcement. On Oct. 18, police responded to a residential burglary report at the Trinidad Drive address. It was reported that several tiles were stolen from the garage. Bolin was l interviewed on scene and provided a witness statement. It was later determined that Bolin had allegedly stolen his roommate’s tile and returned it back to Lowe’s for store credit without the knowledge or permission from his roommate. When contacted by police on November 4, the roommate didn’t desire prosecution, but police still cited and released Bolin for false information.

DOG AT LARGE—David Morris Jackson, 68, was cited and released on Nov. 4 in the area of Long Avenue on suspicion of having a dog at large. On October 26, Animal Care & Welfare officers responded to Community Park where a small dog reportedly bit a transient male. ACW officers contacted the dog’s owner at his residence on Long Ave in Old Bullhead. However, the dog had run away and was not found. The dog was described as a small, tan Chihuahua-pug mix with a curly tail and red collar and last seen on Lee Avenue. 

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE—Gene Marshall Purcell, 64, was arrested on Nov. 7 in the area of Hancock Road and Paseo De Playa on suspicion of driving under the influence and extreme DUI with blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent or more. Police received information of an impaired driver and an officer found the vehicle. The driver was witnessed driving up onto the sidewalk and other signs of intoxicated driving. Purcell was cited and released and given a ride home.

WARRANT—Amber Marie Babe, 51, was arrested on Nov. 7 at the Bullhead City Municipal Court on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Police were called to the courtroom to take Babe into custody. She was taken to Mohave County jail.

WARRANT—Robert Cody Atkins, 29, was arrested on Nov. 7 in the 1900 block of Surf and Sand Drive on a felony parole violation warrant out of the Arizona Department of Corrections. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT/CRIMINAL DAMAGE—Skyler Donald Wilson, 21, was arrested on Nov. 7 in the 3400 block of McCormick Boulevard on suspicion of disorderly conduct per domestic violence and criminal damage per domestic violence and assault per domestic violence. Police were called for a domestic disturbance report that occurred off McCormick Boulevard. It was reported that suspect—Wilson—had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend, reportedly cussing/yelling at her while restraining her, causing injuries. He also damaged the victim’s cellphone and bedroom door. Wilson was taken to Mohave County jail. 

WARRANT—Todd Lamont Derouen, 50, was arrested on Nov. 7 at the intersection of Swan Circle and Swan Drive on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Mohave County jail. 

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA—Eric Gregory Russell, 40, was cited and released on Nov. 7 in the 2500 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. Police were called to the Circle K for a report of a man passed out in his vehicle and a search discovered the drug paraphernalia.

SUSPENDED DRIVERS LICENSE/WARRANT—Veronica Elizabeth Villasenor Castillo, 34, was arrested on Nov. 9 in the area of Second Street and Highway 95 on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Police contacted Villasenor Castillo for a report of a vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway. It was determined her vehicle engine had died and a records check showed her license was suspended and she had a warrant. She was taken to Mohave County jail.

  1. What the hell, Bullhead PD is now giving DUI people a ride home? Unbelivable!!! Purcell was cited and released and given a ride home.

    • Hate to break it to ya Rod but B.H.P.D has been giving dui suspects a ride home for years, I know this because i was given that ride myself when I was 19 I’m now 28. It is odd and believe I was surprised and confused when I was dropped off in the parking lot of the apartment complex I was living at at the time.
