BULLHEAD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT:

ASSAULT/CRIMINAL DAMAGE—Daniel Thompson, 40, was arrested on May 26 in the 2300 block of Acoma Drive on suspicion of assault, criminal damage, disorderly conduct, preventing the use of a telephone in an emergency situation and disorderly conduct per domestic violence. Thompson reportedly came back to his house and got into an argument with his girlfriend and allegedly spat in her face. The girlfriend’s friend stepped in to help and Thompson started to fight him and threw the male victim’s phone. Thompson was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

WARRANTS/DRUGS—Rheannon Aerial Darrington, 20, was arrested on May 26 in the 1900 block of Robson Circle on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for post-adjudication and failure to appear. Police made contact with Darrington and a search of her property reportedly uncovered numerous paraphernalia items including syringes, baggies, scale and meth in the form of crystal-like rocks. She was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Matthew Francis Wozniak, 23, was arrested on May 26 in the 1800 block of Coronado Drive on suspicion of disorderly conduct per domestic violence. It was reported that Wozniak was yelling/arguing and acting disorderly with family members. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.

DOG AT LARGE/LICENSE—Cynthia Webb, 57, was cited and released May 26 on suspicion of dog at large, dog at large liability and license required. A victim reported to Animal Care and Welfare officers that he had been bitten by a neighbor’s dog. He stated the dog chased after him before and informed the owner previously the dog needed to be watched. The dog is currently under mandated quarantine. 

CRIMINAL DAMAGE—Melissa Sue Dunn, 37, was arrested on May 26 in the 1900 block of JoAnn Avenue on suspicion of criminal damage per domestic violence. It was reported Dunn got into an argument with her husband in the 1600 block of Oro Avenue and reportedly threw his clothes outside, smashed a glass vase and punched a wall. She was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

FALSE REPORTING—Marcus Nehemias Flores, 39, was arrested on May 26 in the 600 block of Oak Avenue on suspicion of lying to law enforcement. Police responded to a domestic violence report where Flores reported his girlfriend was throwing food. It was later discovered that Flores threw the food to try to get his girlfriend into trouble. Flores and his girlfriend have reportedly called emergency services numerous times regarding their domestic violence issues and then refuse to open the door or cooperate. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.

WARRANT—Luis Abraham Ruiz, 29, was arrested on May 26 in the area of Country Club Drive and Chaparral Drive on a misdemeanor warrant for a domestic violence/family offense. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.

MOHAVE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE:

FAILURE TO STOP—Richard Eugene Jones, 36, of Los Angeles, Calif., was arrested on May 26 on suspicion of failure to stop for a law enforcement watercraft. Deputies were on patrol in the Thompson Bay area of Lake Havasu when they saw a personal watercraft traveling south through a no wake zone. The jet ski was on full plane and traveling in excess of 40 miles per hour. A patrol boat activated emergency lights and sirens and approached the jet ski head on in an attempt to stop it. The PWC made a high speed U-turn, and began traveling north, away from the patrol boat. Another patrol boat then activated lights and sirens and began to travel directly at the bow of the jet ski. The jet ski again turned to avoid the patrol boat, where it met another patrol boat and finally came to a stop. The operator, identified as Jones, was taken to the Mohave County jail.

KINGMAN POLICE DEPARTMENT:

VEHICLE THEFT/DRUGS/RESISTING ARREST—Justin James Nichols Jr., 19, of Kingman was arrested on May 26 in the 3200 block of East Andy Devine Avenue on suspicion of vehicle theft, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for an unrelated theft charge. Officers responded to a fast food restaurant where it was reported that a male subject had just stolen a young man’s dirt bike. The dirt bike motorcycle was parked outside of the restaurant while the owner was inside eating.  Officers arrived and began searching in the area. Nichols was located with the motorcycle behind a nearby truck stop. Nichols attempted to flee on foot before he was taken into custody. He was taken to the Mohave County jail. The motorcycle was returned to the owner.

LAKE HAVASU CITY POLICE:

ASSAULT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Thomas Michael Branaman, 29, was arrested on May 26 in the 3200 block of Maricopa Avenue on suspicion of assault-intent/reckless/injure and disorderly conduct-fighting. He was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

DRUGS—Kevin Alexander Rule, 18, was arrested on May 26 in the 2100 block of McCulloch Boulevard on suspicion of marijuana-possess/use and drug paraphernalia-possess use. He was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

DRUGS—Michael Robert Vest, 39, was arrested on May 26 in the 1600 block of McCulloch Boulevard on suspicion of marijuana-possess/use and drug paraphernalia-possess/use. He was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

MINOR POSSESSING LIQUOR—Joseph Edward Nichols, 20, was arrested on May 26 in the area of Swanson Avenue and Highway 95 on suspicion of liquor-minor in possession. He was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE—Summer Lynn Goltra, 21, was arrested on May 26 in the 100 block of Bunder Drive on suspicion of DUI-liquor/drugs/vapors/combo. She was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

DRUGS—Dustin Michael Querry, 28, was arrested on May 26 in the 100 block of Acoma Boulevard North on suspicion of narcotic drug-possess/use and drug paraphernalia-possess/use. He was taken to the Mohave County jail. 

ILLEGAL CAMPING—Steven Kent Sutter, 59, was arrested on May 26 in the 2100 block of Mesquite Avenue on suspicion of illegal camping in city limits. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.
