BULLHEAD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT:
ASSAULT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Darryl Thomas Israel, 26, was arrested on August 7 in the 1600 block of Lynn Drive on suspicion of assault, disorderly conduct and preventing the use of a phone in an emergency—all per domestic violence. Israel also faces charges of resisting arrest. Police were called to a domestic violence in the off Lynn Drive and made contact Israel, who was reportedly immediately uncooperative, yelling profanities. He reportedly had to be tased in order to comply with police. He actively struggled and resisted police. Israel was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.
AGGRAVATED DUI–Clint M. Bender, 26, was arrested on August 7 in the 600 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and interference with judicial proceedings. Police were called to a report of an intoxicated man sleeping in a running vehicle parked in the McDonald’s parking lot. Bender was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for a blood draw with consent of a search warrant signed by judge. Bender was reportedly very uncooperative with officers and at the hospital. For the safety of the hospital staff and officers the blood test kit was not completed, police said. Bender was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.
WARRANT–Alexis Sylvia Fraire, 55, was arrested on August 7 in the 1600 block of Highway 95 on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Police said during a search, Fraire reportedly had in her possession a straw with burnt meth residue. Fraire was additionally arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held for court.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE–-Kevin Ryan LeBlanc, 29, was arrested on August 7 in the 2300 block of Balboa Drive on suspicion of driving under the influence, criminal damage, leaving the scene of an accident and disorderly conduct per domestic violence. Police responded to the 300 block of Rio Grande Way for a motor vehicle accident. Police received information that the driver was LeBlanc and he had left the scene and was intoxicated. There was damage done to a residential fence and to a parked neighbor’s vehicle. A female reported that she and her boyfriend – Leblanc – got into an argument and he left his a vehicle intoxicated. At about 10 p.m., police contacted LeBlanc in the 2300 blk of Balboa Drive. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE–Mark Andrew Brown, 68, was arrested on August 7 in the area of Plata Drive and Arena Drive on suspicion of driving under the influence, not wearing a seatbelt, speeding and having no current registration. Police responded to a single vehicle accident near the intersection of Plata Drive and Arena Drive. The driver–identified as Brown–was taken by ambulance to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center. He was cited and released at the hospital.
DRUGS–Ty James Wharton, 25, was cited and released on August 7 in the 2100 block of Clearwater Drive on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. Shirley Starr Sensensy, 29, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotic drugs (Rx only pills) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police responded to assist Mohave County Probation at the Clearwater Drive residence after probation reportedly found several drug paraphernalia items. She was taken to the Mohave County jail.
SHOPLIFTING–Ralph Lewis Mitchell Jr, 37, was arrested on August 7 at Safeway on suspicion of shoplifting. The store reported Mitchell concealed a bottle of shampoo in his pants. He was also arrested on three outstanding warrants: a felony for dangerous drugs, a misdemeanor for contempt of court and a misdemeanor for failure to appear. Mitchell was taken to the Mohave County jail.
TRESPASSING–Ryan Michael Brannen, 27, was arrested on August 7 in the 2200 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of trespassing. Police responded to McDonald’s after Brannen was asked to leave the business and not return. He reportedly returned, arrested and taken to the Mohave County jail.
WARRANT–Scott Benjamin MacNeill, 59, was arrested on August 7 in the 1100 block of Riverfront Drive on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines. He was taken to the Mohave County jail.
