Bullhead City, AZ – A delivery truck tore down a power line, shaking poles and causing two other lines to collapse, resulting in an outage at 5:30 pm Tuesday evening, May 3, for multiple Mohave Electric Cooperative members. The outage took place at Laguna in the Mohave Valley area.

Line crews isolated damaged lines and equipment and replaced an electric pole restoring power to all members at 1:30 am. “Outage restoration is very important to Mohave Electric Cooperative, and we make every effort to restore power quickly and safely as possible. It is important to also treat all down lines as if they are energized and stay away from them,” stated Jerry Hardy, manager of engineering and operations.

Please call our toll-free line at 1-844-632-2667, text “outage” to 55050 from a number linked to your MEC account, or use our SmartHub application on your mobile device or desktop if you are experiencing an outage.
