Arizona Diamondbacks fans are breathing a bit easier following an interview with team President and CEO Derrick Hall Thursday, on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

In the Doug and Wolf Show interview, Hall said the team visited the city of Vancouver, British Columbia recently, but has decided the team has “no intention of playing anywhere but Arizona.”

According to Hall, locations in downtown Phoenix as well as Maricopa County are now being considered. The team has called Chase Field its home (originally known as “The BOB” for Bank One Ballpark) since its expansion year in 1998.
