Did You Know? That the Avi Resort and Casino is becoming the place to see new country artists. Avi Resort & Casino
and KFLG 94.7 FM will be hosting their fourth free New Country Artist concert on Wednesday, July 31
at 7 PM in the ArrowWeed Lounge. Dylan Jakobsen will be the featured artist and will perform songs
from his recently released his full-length album I AM – a concept record fully written and produced by
Jakobsen.
Prior to the concert new Artist is introduced to the KFLG audience when they sit down for an on-air
interview with Craig Powers. After the interview the Artist and Craig Powers come over to the Avi for
the show. Audience members are encouraged to stick around after the show to meet and get to know the
new artist.
The New Country Artist Concert series started with Gethen Jenkins in January. Followed in April by
Ryan Sims and in May by the duo, Terra Bella.
The Avi and KFLG plan to continue to support up-and-coming artists with free concerts and introducing
