DIVE MISSION- LAKE HAVASU

On Sunday (6/28) at approximately 4:07 PM, 9-1-1 calls were received by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center about a male subject that was missing in the water, on Lake Havasu, in the area of Thompson Bay. Deputies with The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Division of Boating Safety responded to the area. Several Boating Deputies who are members of the MCSO Dive Rescue and Recovery Team, donned their SCUBA gear, and immediately entered the water to search for the missing subject. Members of the Lake Havasu City Police Department Dive Team arrived a short time later, and also assisted with the underwater search efforts.

At this time, the victim has not been located. Search efforts will continue into the night and into future days. Please be aware of these ongoing search efforts, and for the safety of our divers, please stay away from the area.
