Dog Bite

Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures. On Tuesday, April 6 at about 1:30 a.m., ACW was called for a dog bite in the area of Yale and Riverfront Dr. A 36-year-old female reported that she was walking her cat on a leash when a dog went after her cat. The cat jumped into the owner’s arms and the dog bit the female on her arm.

The dog was reportedly walking with a couple and they called the dog “Duke.” The dog is described as a medium size, black and white dog.

ACW officers searched the area, but the dog has not yet been located. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference report# 21-09301. This is for quarantine purposes after a bite has occurred.
