Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a stray dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.

On Tuesday, August 30, ACW was dispatched to a walk-in clinic for a woman being treated for a dog bite to her leg and hand. The victim reported that on Saturday, August 27 at about 7 p.m., she went to get her mail in the 1800 block of El Dorado when a stray dog approached her. The dog then bit her when she went to pet it.

The dog is described as a small-medium sized brown dog with a red collar, unknown breed and sex.

ACW patrolled the area but have not located the dog. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference report# 22-27181.
