Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.

On Sunday, February 12, a mother reported that at about 7 p.m., her daughter and a friend were outside riding their bicycles in the 800 block of Glen Drive. A stray dog came up to her 10-year-old daughter and bit her stomach. She was treated at the local hospital for her injuries. Her friend was unharmed.

The dog is described a grey pitbull-type dog with white spots and no collar.

ACW patrolled the area but have not located the dog. If anyone has any information, please call the non-emergency dispatch number at (928) 763-1999, reference report# 23-04700.
