Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.

On Saturday, April 29 at about 11:30 a.m., ACW was dispatched to an urgent care where a woman was being treated for a dog bite.
The victim reported that there was a stray dog wandering around and she wanted to help it. When she brought it a bowl of water, the dog jumped up and bit her in the face. The dog then ran off in the area of the 3200 block of South Ridge Avenue.  The dog is described as a brindle Shepherd type dog with no collar.

ACW patrolled the area but have not located the dog. If anyone has any information, please call the non-emergency dispatch number at (928) 763-1999, reference report# 23-13310.
