Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.
On Saturday night (9/2/23), ACW was dispatched to Valley View Medical Center where a 17-year-old male victim was being treated for a dog bite. It was reported that at approximately 8 p.m., a dog came up and bit him on the leg while he was playing basketball at Rotary Park. An elderly man grabbed the dog, advised his dog was up to date with shots and left.

The dog is described as a dark colored (possibly black or grey) medium size dog.

ACW is required to verify this information and is hoping to locate the dog/owner for quarantine procedures.

If anyone has any information, please call the non-emergency dispatch number at (928) 763-1999, reference report# 23-28016.
