Dog bite

Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite. 

Late Wednesday evening, October 23rd, a 51-year-old male was treated at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for injuries suffered from a dog bite. The victim reported to ACW that he was walking home in the area of Thunderbird and Colorado Blvd at about 11 p.m., when a stray dog attacked him.

The dog is described as medium sized, white and brown, unknown sex/breed.

ACW officers searched the area, but the dog has not yet been located. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference report# 19-06766
