Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog and owner for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.

On Sunday, July 26 at about 1:30 p.m., a mother reported that a dog ran into her driveway, 2000 block of Swan Cove N., and bit her 2-year-old child in the face. The child received medical treatment at the emergency room.

The dog reportedly ran off in an unknown direction. It is described as a brown pitbull.

ACW officers searched the area, but the dog has not yet been located. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference case# 20-04476.
