Dog Bite

Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures. On Monday afternoon, ACW was called to a walk-in medical clinic for a woman, age 40, who was being treated for a dog bite injury. The victim reported that the incident occurred on Saturday, June 26 at around 9:30 a.m. in the area of Clearwater and Harbor Dr.

She told ACW that when she was walking her small dog, a stray dog ran out and bit her on her arm. The dog is described as a brown and black dog, medium size. ACW officers searched the area, but the dog has not yet been located. If anyone has any information, please call the Bureau of Animal Care and Welfare at (928) 763-6000, reference report# 21-18053. This is for quarantine purposes after a bite has occurred.
