DONALD STOCKLIN

Donald Stocklin, age 84, died Thursday morning, October 12, 2017, in his sleep. He had scar tissue in his lungs and had been on continuous oxygen for over a year.

Don was from the Detroit, Michigan Area, where he married his wife, Jo-Ann in 1960. Nine years later they moved to Phoenix, Arizona to open a German-American Restaurant/Lounge. After selling their business, they moved to Twinsburg, Ohio, then back to Michigan to his chosen career of being Traffic Manager; and Trouble-shooter for a large consolidation trucking firm.

After retiring, he moved to Bullhead City in 1999 and was very active at St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, where he formed a monthly food distribution program.

Don is survived by his wife, Jo-Ann; sister, Kathleen Lucier; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017, at St. Margaret Mary’s Church.
