Dorothy Louise Lachance, age 97, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Bullhead City, Arizona. Dorothy was born on May 21, 1920 in Brunswick, Maine to parents Herbert Lapham and Angie Allen. In the 1960’s, she and her beloved husband Wilfred moved from Brunswick, Maine to Sun Valley, California where she worked for many years as a financial officer for a local refrigeration company. She retired and moved to Bullhead City, Arizona in 1991, where she volunteered throughout the community.

Dorothy loved to travel and making everlasting memories of camping trips with Wilfred throughout the West Coast, traveling to the Hawaiian Islands when oldest son David retired from the U.S. Air Force, and Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia when son David retired from Northrop-Grumman. She also explored abroad visiting London, England, Dublin, Ireland, and Perth, Australia. She thoroughly enjoyed and welcomed many visits from family and friends since moving to Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wilfred, and her youngest son Richard. She is survived by her two sons; David (Candy) Lachance of Stevenson Ranch, CA, and Geoff (Betty) Lachance of Ashland, Tennessee, her several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as her devoted friend and caregiver Maxine (Larry) Greenwood of Fort Mohave, Arizona.
