Dr. Chad Kingsley -Approved as New County Health Director

Mohave County, AZ (July 6, 2022) –At the Tuesday, July 5, Board of Supervisors meeting, the board approved Dr. Chad Kingsley as the new Mohave County Public Health Director.  Earlier, he had been selected as the top candidate for the position.  Kingsley will commence working on August 1st and will work a transition week with outgoing health director Denise Burley.

Kingsley was present at the board meeting, stating that he had 15 years’ experience in medical and public health, spending the last 10 years with the Southern Nevada Health District. He addressed the board, saying “I’ve worked extensively throughout my career partnering with communities, stakeholders, as well as decision makers, making sustainable decisions, as well as interventions within the communities, both in education, as well as in health care and for the community.” He added that “since March, 2020, I’ve also been involved with the Incident Command System in our response to the pandemic.” He and his wife have 4 children.
