Drowning July 14, 2022- On Thursday, July 14, 2022, at approximately 6:15 pm, a call came into the Bullhead City Dispatch center regarding two male swimmers who entered the Colorado River at Davis Camp to retrieve a raft. Dispatch was advised the two males were not wearing life jackets and were swept away by the river. Officers and the Bullhead City Fire Department responded to the area by both water units and land units. An unresponsive male (52 years of age) was located floating in the river and brought to land in the 600 block of Highway 95, Bullhead City, Arizona. Emergency personnel began life saving measures but the male was pronounced deceased on scene.

The second male was able to get to shore and return to his party in Davis Camp. Officers responded to Davis Camp during the investigation and notified the deceased next of kin
