Drug Possession Arrest

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Shawn Kirby Rapp, 41 of Topock, for Dangerous Drug Possession, Drug Paraphernalia Possession, and a Fugitive from Justice warrant. On Monday (5/31) at 4:15 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Highway 95 and Paseo El Rio in Mohave Valley.

Deputies made contact with the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as Rapp. Upon contact deputies observed a broken glass smoking pipe on the passenger floor board, a fresh cut on Rapp’s abdomen and broken glass in his lap. Deputies asked Rapp to exit the vehicle and he was detained. A
records check revealed Rapp’s driver’s license was suspended and he had a felony warrant for his arrest out of Washington.

Rapp admitted to breaking the glass pipe as deputies approached him and he had concealed a glass vile of methamphetamine in his boxers. Deputies located the illegal drugs, which weighed approximately 2 grams. Shawn Kirby Rapp was transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman without incident.
