Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Lucindo Callegoes Vasquez, 50, and Mariateresa Holguin Vasquez, 48, both of Coachella, CA for various drug related offenses. On Friday (8/6) at 12 PM, deputies conducted a records check on a vehicle that revealed an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the area of Calle Ranchita and Camino Colorado in Fort Mohave and deputies made contact with the driver, identified as Lucindo Vasquez. Deputies asked Lucindo to exit the vehicle, and while doing so observed what was believed to be illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia between the driver’s seat and driver’s side door. Lucindo was detained and deputies contacted the female passenger, identified as Mariateresa Vasquez. A search of her person revealed a glass pipe in her shirt and she was detained. A search of Mariateresa’s purse revealed 7.18 grams of methamphetamine, and 8 Oxycodone pills. Usable amounts of heroin and multiple items of assorted drug paraphernalia were also located inside the vehicle. Lucindo Callegoes Vasques was arrested for Narcotic Drug Possession and Drug Paraphernalia Possession, both felonies. Mariateresa Holguin Vasquez was arrested for Dangerous Drug Possession, Narcotic Drug Possession, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession, all felonies. Both subjects were transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman without incident.
