Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Mark Anthony Gardner, 35 of Needles, for Dangerous Drug Possession for Sale, Transporting Dangerous Drugs for Sale, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession, all felonies. On Friday (11/4) at 12:27 AM, deputies were on patrol in the area of Courtwright Rd. and Highway 95 when they observed a blue Hyundai sedan driving in the area. Deputies observed the vehicle to have excessive window tint and a records check revealed an expired registration. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Barrackman Rd. and Harbor Ave. and made contact with the driver, identified as Gardner, and a female passenger.

Deputies observed extremely nervous behavior from Gardner during the contact and asked him to step out of the vehicle. Deputies conducted a pat search of Gardner and located a baggie containing 11.7 ounces of presumptive positive methamphetamine, 91 suspected fentanyl blue m30 pills (analysis results pending), and multiple baggies with methamphetamine residue. A search of the vehicle revealed no further illegal items. The female passenger was released from the scene. Mark Anthony Gardner was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman without incident.
