Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Jerome Williams II, 35 of California City, CA, for Dangerous Drug Possession, Drug Paraphernalia Possession, and a Fugitive from Justice warrant for Attempted Murder.
On Wednesday (5/25) at 1:30 AM, deputies were on patrol in the area of Craggy Wash outside of Lake Havasu City. Deputies observed a campsite that was running a generator past the posted “Quiet Hours” and made contact with a male and female subject who stated they were staying at the campsite. For officer safety, the male subject was patted down for weapons and deputies located a large bindle of a crystal like substance in his pocket. While being detained, the male admitted that the substance was methamphetamine.
When asked for his name, the male gave deputies a false identification and birth date. Through the course of the investigation, the male’s name was revealed to be Jerome Williams. A records check revealed Williams to have two active arrest warrants, one of which was a full extradition warrant for Attempted Murder out of Kern County, CA.
Jerome Williams was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman without incident.
