Eight New COVID-19 Cases;

Total is Now 156

17 Total Deaths in County

 

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 6, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of eight COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County. Six of these are in the Kingman service area and two are in the Lake Havasu City service area.

Of the six Kingman service area individuals, one, who is 65+, is hospitalized and is linked to another case.  The other five are all linked to another case, in isolation, and recovering at home. Three of them are 65+ and two are in the 20-44 year age range.

The two Lake Havasu City service area cases are both in isolation, recovering at home and linked to another confirmed case.  One of them is in the 20-44 year age range and the other is in the 45-54 year age range.

There are now 40 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including four deaths, 99 in Kingman, with a total of 12 deaths there, 1 case in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,)  and 16 in Bullhead City, including one death.  There are a total of — 17 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases – 156.
