BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – September 7, 2022 – The City of Bullhead City will continue to hand out free cases of water at Community Park, 1251 Highway 95, until 8 p.m. tonight. WestCare, Food for Families and St. Margaret Mary’s Food Bank are also at Community Park passing out food, while supplies last, to those impacted by the power and water outage. Approximately 300 vehicles have already gone through the water and food distribution event.

Water service has been restored. The City strongly urges all residents to please conserve water as it is being distributed community-wide in high demand.

Electricity to a majority of homes in Bullhead City has also reportedly been restored. There are some neighborhoods, such as Laredo Village and Montano Ridge that remain without power. Mohave Electric Cooperative crews are still working tirelessly to get all power restored.
“I’m so proud of our community,” said Bullhead City Mayor Elect Steve D’Amico. “You couldn’t ask for a better community than Bullhead City to live in and I am so grateful to everyone.”
The Cooling Center in Bullhead City will remain open 24/7 at the Recreation Center, 2285 Trane Road, to provide air conditioning, space, water, snacks and electricity charging for guests seeking to shelter from the heat.
