Tuesday June 14th the FMMFD and other base station fire departments wrapped up inservice training on utilizing the pediatric and adult lower femur for quick and reliable access in trauma and cardiac arrest with the EZ-IO. Studies show the lower femur is superior to upper tibia in flow rates and EMS accuracy.
