Excessive Heat Warning

Bullhead City (Ariz.) – July 7, 2021 – The National Weather Service has issued another Excessive Heat Warning for Bullhead City and surrounding areas today through Monday.

The desert heat can be very dangerous. Try to stay out of the sun and drink plenty of water even if you’re not thirsty to stay hydrated. Avoid outdoor activities, or limit them for the early morning or evening hours. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear light, loose fitting clothing. Please take the time to check on elderly neighbors and pay extra attention to children and pets during this excessive heat warning.

The Suddenlink Community Center, 2380 Suddenlink Way in Bullhead City, will be open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. as a cooling center for people wanting to escape the heat.
