Farmers Market Kicks Off Fall

Bullhead City, AZ., September 26, 2022- The Pumpkin Patch Market, presented by Anderson Ford and Anderson Power Sports, will kick off a whole new season of themed Bullhead City Farmers Markets Saturday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The Bullhead City Farmers Market is a family-friendly experience in Bullhead’s scenic Community Park, located at 1251 Highway 95 bordering the Colorado River. The Market is held during the best weather of the year, and features the area’s most unique musicians, artists, local farm fresh produce, craftsman, bakers, novelty vendors and food trucks.

Saturday’s market welcomes new vendors as well as some returning visitor favorites including Papa’s Wind Chimes, Talking Stones, The Crafty Peddler, Skinsation, Scentsy, Krebs Kitchen, Holly Hobby’s and Circle T Honey; just a few of the over 50 vendors confirmed to attend the October Market.

There will be no need to leave the market hungry with 4 food truck options to feast on including, Bangers and Chips, The Corn Man, Shiver River, and Smoke House Smokers.

The Bullhead City Recreation Division isn’t stopping there. Families will be able to enjoy a day at the Market with free-to-enter bounce houses, courtesy of Suzi Bounce House and Mohave High School Student Council volunteers. Market goers can enjoy a game of cornhole using the Market provided boards and bean bags. The Colorado River Historical Society is joining in on the celebration by welcoming attendees to partake in pumpkin decoration and handing out free custard from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Market Stage will host the Bullhead City Animal Shelter Howl-O-Ween pet costume contest from 11 a.m. to Noon.  Contestants will compete for trophies in categories of Most CreativeFunniest, and Best Owner/Pet Combo. Participants must supply $10 of petfood or $10 to enter; proceeds benefit the Bullhead City Animal Shelter. Contestants can meet at the Market Stage starting at 11 a.m. to participate. The Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest is sponsored by Swanty’s, Tri-State Orthopedic, Tri-State AC Heroes, and All Dogs Go to Heaven Pet Cremation and Cemetery. The Animal Shelter will also be raffling off various prizes during the contest. Tickets will be on sale during the costume contest near the stage. The Market Stage will host 50 Shades of Rock from Noon- 3pm. Bring your chairs and enjoy the beautiful weather and a free concert in the park.

“There’s something for everyone at the Bullhead City Farmers Market,” said Bullhead City Recreation Supervisor Claire Adams. “Whether you’re looking for something unique to decorate the home, rare jam that can only be found through a local vendor, a place for your kids to burn some energy, or a place for your club to fundraise, the Farmers Market has what you need.”
