Fatal Accident

Bullhead City AZ- Bullhead City Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian verses motor vehicle accident. On Monday, September 14 at approximately 8:40 a.m., emergency crews responded to the 1700 block of Highway 95 where a man was struck by a crane truck owned by a private business. According to witnesses, the male pedestrian ran into the side of the oncoming southbound truck while attempting to cross the roadway. He was transported to a local hospital by a Bullhead City Fire ambulance and then airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV where he was pronounced deceased.

The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk. The name of the pedestrian will be released once next of kin has been located and notified. He was an 85-year-old Bullhead City resident.
