Fatal Traffic Crash

On Wednesday, December 13th, at about 8:10pm, the Kingman Police Department responded to a serious injury crash in the area of Kino Avenue and North Stockton Hill Road.  Investigators determined a four-door sport utility vehicle (SUV) driven by Lacey Lynn Gale, 19 of Kingman was making a left hand turn to continue northbound on North Stockton Hill Road from Kino Avenue.  A truck, driven by a 20-year-old male, of Kingman was traveling southbound on Stockton Hill Road and did not stop for the red light, striking the SUV.  The damage to both vehicles was extensive and both drivers were injured.  Emergency personnel on scene conducted life saving measures on Gale prior to her being transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC), where she was pronounced deceased.  The male driver was also transported to KRMC with non-life-threatening injuries.  The investigation is on-going.
