FATAL VEHICLE COLLISION- GOLDEN VALLEY

On Sunday (6/14) at approximately 12 PM, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a single vehicle collision on Estrella Rd. near McElmo Dr. Deputies arrived on scene and began the collision investigation, which found that the vehicle was traveling north bound on Estrella Rd. at approximately 60 MPH. The vehicle travelled through a dip in the road and drifted to the right. The driver then over-corrected to the left, causing it to rotate counter clockwise. The vehicle eventually left the roadway and rolled one time, landing up right. The driver, Stanton Taylor Edwards, 64 of Golden Valley, was pronounced deceased on
scene. The 16 year old male passenger was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center for minor injuries sustained during the collision. The investigation revealed no seat belts were worn during the time of the collision. This investigation is ongoing.
