KINGMAN, AZ (NOVEMBER 23, 2021) – This GivingTuesday, FERAL CAT WARRIORS will inspire generosity by raising funding to support the neglected homeless cats throughout Mohave County, Arizona.

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 30, 2021, and throughout the year.

Feral Cat Warriors is participating in #GivingTuesday, the global day of unity and giving. As you know, our organization works tirelessly to reduce the community cat population through our T-N-R (Trap, Neuter, Return) program and by rescuing abandoned and neglected stray kittens and cats.  We can’t do this without the support of the community.

This year alone, we have rescued more than 500 cats and kittens from unimaginable situations, and after months of care and veterinary visits, these feline friends have gone on to find new homes through our rescue partners.  We have spayed and neutered more than 200 community cats within the greater Kingman area through our TNR program.

Feral Cat Warriors has only just begun, and the need in our area is bigger than we could have ever imagined. This year our goal is to raise $15,000 in order to get a strong start on the 2022 kitten season before it gets out of hand again.

Not only do we need your financial support, but we also need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too!

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

People demonstrate generosity in many ways on GivingTuesday. Whether it’s helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving to causes we care about, every act of generosity counts. GivingTuesday has raised billions of dollars for critical causes around the world and gets billions of impressions on social media from people and organizations speaking up for the causes that matter to them and encouraging others to get involved in their communities.

“GivingTuesday inspires people all around the world to embrace their power to drive progress around the causes they care about, not just on one day but throughout the year.” said Asha Curran, GivingTuesday’s CEO, and co-founder. “With country and community leaders, millions of organizations, and countless givers of all kinds, GivingTuesday is creating a shared space where we can see the radical implications of a more generous world.”

About Feral Cat Warriors, Inc

FERAL CAT WARRIORS, INC is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer-based animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing feral and stray cats and kittens from unsafe conditions and overcrowded shelters. By working with a network of volunteer advocates, foster caregivers, local veterinarians, shelters, and other rescue groups, FERAL CAT WARRIORS, INC is able to rescue hundreds of animals every year. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes or well-maintained and safe feral colonies. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership and TNR programs, including resources for spay/neuter, nutrition, and veterinary care. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no stray or feral animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
