Dear Lake Mead National Recreation Area Community,

Sharing a reminder that we invite you to join us for our next 1-hour online community meeting on Thursday, January 11 (tomorrow) at 3 pm. JOIN THE MEETING HERE.


The purpose of the meeting is to share information about the work we do and increase community understanding and support of our operations, challenges, upcoming projects and initiatives.


The speaker lineup for the meeting is:  

Superintendent Mike Gauthier — Introduction, overview of commercial services activities and update on the Lake Mead National Recreation Area Sustainable Low Water Access Plan

Business Center Operations Chief Edward Drish – Status of 2024 cashless entry policy

Volunteers-In-Parks Coordinator Nancy Bernard — Update on the Lake Mead National Recreation Area Volunteers in Parks Program activities and events

 Chief Ranger Trouper Snow – Discussion of ongoing park visitor and safety topics

 Chief of Resource Stewardship and Interpretation Mark Sappington – Lake Mead National Recreation Area water quality discussion
