Five New COVID-19 Cases; One Death

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 10, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of five COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County and a COVID-19 related death.
The death is in the Kingman service area and is of a person who is 86+. It’s a previously identified case and is linked to another confirmed case.
Four of the five new cases are in the Kingman service area. One is under 20 years old, two are in the 20-44 year age range, and two are in the 55-64 year age range. All four are in isolation, recovering at home and an investigation is pending. The final case is a 55-64 year age range individual in the Lake Havasu City service area, who is in isolation, recovering at home, and is linked to another case.
There are now 46 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including four deaths, 123 in Kingman, with a total of 18 deaths there, 4 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) and 18 in Bullhead City, including one death. There are a total of — 23 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases –191.
ALSO: The Arizona testing blitz continues with free testing taking place Saturday, May 16 from 6am to 11am at Lake Havasu City’s Aquatic Center, 100 Park Avenue.
