On 1-24-18 The London Bridge LEO Club, a non-profit organization out of Lake Havasu City, presented the
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Division of Boating Safety with 14 American Flags for display on various
patrol boats. This project was spear headed by 15 year old LEO Club member Jacob Dominguez. “Jacob
approached us, and asked why only a couple of our boats had flags.” Said Sergeant Kyler Cox. “I explained
to him that although we love displaying the American Flags, our budget could not withstand purchasing one
for all 14 of our boats, and maintaining them throughout the season.” Jacob jumped into action, and
presented the idea to his club. His club then purchased and donated 14 American Flags for display on all of
MCSO’s patrol vessels. The LEO Club, is for kids ages 12 to 18 that want to help and give back to their
community. LEO, which stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity, are the clubs core values.
