LAS VEGAS, Nevada — A woman killed in Las Vegas Saturday was a longtime resident of Bullhead City and former owner of Lovely Nails salon.
Nhu “Annie” Nguyen died at University Medical Hospital from injuries she sustained after being struck by the customers vehicle during the altercation.
The alleged suspect, a woman in her late 20’s, fled the scene before police arrived.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say the dispute was reportedly over the customer not paying her $35 manicurist bill and when Nguyen confronted the customer in the parking lot, the driver struck her head on.
Nguyen was dragged about 50 feet.
The suspects rental vehicle was found by authorities in a neighborhood nearby.
The investigation continues at this time and anyone with information is urged to call LVMPD.
