FORT MOHAVE–A local Fort Mohave business owner is in critical, but stable condition following a car accident Sunday night at Camino Colorado and Highway 95.
Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Quentin Mehr said the accident involved a motorcycle and passenger car shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of Highway 95.
Mehr said the driver of the Jeep refused treatment at the scene, while the motorcyclist was taken to Valley View Medical Center and airlifted to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas for further treatment.
Although Mehr did not disclose the identity of the motorcycle victim, family of Sherryl “Stitches” Davis took to social media to update family and friends on her condition.
Davis, who is an employee of Cathie’z Leather in Fort Mohave, reportedly sustained injuries to her aorta and shoulder. No further details were immediately available.
