LAUGHLIN–The bond of a Fort Mohave woman who allegedly drove drunk and crashed her car into two others, has been increased to $40,000, said a Clark County Detention official.

Darby Studebaker, 23, is facing two felony counts of driving under the influence above the legal limit that resulted in injury/bodily harm after she allegedly got behind the wheel of her vehicle while intoxicated last weekend.

Studebaker made her appearance Tuesday before a Clark County judge via video conference from the jail. She was released from the hospital over the weekend.

The crash occurred on Bruce Woodbury Drive shortly before dark Friday night. Studebaker’s vehicle reportedly crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with two vehicles head on. The impact sent one vehicle in a roll before it came to rest on the shoulder of the roadway.

Six people were injured in the crash, two sustained serious injuries and were airlifted from the scene. The other four were taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.

The identity–or the current condition–of the victim’s involved have not been released.

Studebaker’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 31.
